More importantly, the day marked a new initiative on which the FoCh volunteers have embarked upon. A model of mentor-student matrix has been adopted with each volunteer (and a back-up) taking up responsibility of following up and mentoring a specific set of students. This has been a long pending activity and we’re hoping it would yield a lot of positive results. 7 mentors are assigned approximately 12 – 13 students each and identify themselves with the letters in F R I E N D S.

Fresher’s day was conducted with great enthusiasm for all new students joining the FoCh family at St. Teresa School on June 26th, 2011. The senior students took a lot of ownership of the events and warmly welcomed the new students while entertaining everyone present with their spontaneous programs.
