Yes, we are participating in the 5.7 km celebrity run (which we intend to walk), also known as the Majja run on May 23rd Sunday morning.
We are using the occasion to spread the word about our activities, to rope in potential volunteers & well wishers.
It would be a festive atmosphere, and a walk bordering cubbon park. Fifty plus of us, would be marching along with slogans, banners, & music. We plan to reach out to new comers & onlookers.
We want to highlight our activities, volunteering options, & our needs.
Registering modes – last date May 10th for direct registrations and 8th May if you want us to register for you.
- Online at the event site(link). Pay 300Rs, and specify ‘Friends of Children’ as the NGO you are supporting.

And, keeping with our tradition of using our donations only for funding education, all costs associated with this event will be shared by the volunteers.
